ACCOMMODATION
***THE SWAN AT HAY IS FULLY BOOKED FOR HAY FESTIVAL 2013***
The Swan at Hay Hotel has 17 en-suite bedrooms. No two rooms are the same, and each reflects the quirky character of this former coaching inn. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath (apart from room 8 which only has a shower). The rooms are all comfortable, with flatscreen TV and DVD players and generous tea tray. All rooms have direct-dial phones to help you stay in touch with the outside world.
All guests are welcome to use the hotel's facilities which include a delightful walled garden, a residents' lounge and bar areas. As a privately owned hotel, all guests are encouraged to make themselves feel at home and not hesitate to ask if there is anything that would enhance their stay.
There are four types of room. Phone us for more information about individual rooms and specific requirements that you may have. Please note that all the rooms in the main building are on the first floor and whilst we do not have a lift we will happily help you carry your luggage upstairs.
Superior Rooms (from £125.00prpn)
These beautiful rooms are the largest in the hotel and all have wonderful features from views overlooking the garden to half-tester beds. The extra space affords more comfort for those exploring the Brecon Beacons for a few days.
Large Standard Rooms (from £120.00prpn)
These rooms are all different in shape and size and are popular because of their individualilty. Some of them have double-height ceilings, some have views of the garden while other rooms overlook the Radnorshire hills.
Standard Rooms (from £110.00 prpn)
These cozy rooms have everything you need for a short break in Hay.
Courtyard rooms (from £99.00prpn)
The courtyard rooms are an annex of rooms next to the hotel. These are smaller in size and are perfect for a short stay in Hay-on-Wye.
Two of these rooms are on the ground floor, and while not offering full disabled access, they are popular with guests who struggle to walk up flights of stairs.
All prices are per room (assuming double occupancy) and include a full Welsh breakfast the following morning.
EXTRAS
Extra bed in a superior room: £25.00 per night (to include bed and breakfast)
Pets: We charge £15.00 per pet per night for dogs in the Courtyard rooms.
Packed Lunch: £8.50 per person. Please place your order the night before you require it.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you wish to cancel your booking we require one week's notice (seven days) in writing. If you cancel within this time, you will be charged the first night's bed and breakfast. In exceptional circumstances we will change the booking to another date, but this is is subject to the discretion of the management and subject to availability.
